The Sevpechlag camp outpost near the 2109 km of the Northern Railroad operated from 1939 until the end of the 1940s. During the war, an infirmary operated here, and mortality was high among the prisoners. The location of the former cemetery was discovered in 2007 by an expedition of the Pokayanie Foundation (Syktyvkar).
Today the burial is within the city limits of Inta, 4 kms from Yarpiyag village. Subsided graves can be seen over an area of roughly 1,200 square metres. No commemorative signs remain. The numbers buried here are unknown and name lists are not available. Only the name of Ivan Lutsenko who died in 1940 and is thought to be buried in a mass grave in this cemetery is known. In July 2013, his grandson S.D. Nikolin put up a cross in memory of his grandfather and all Sevpechlag prisoners. The cross was consecrated in August 2013.
